Experiences and Activities
I’ve lived the hustle and bustle of city life to know well enough the importance of taking a breather. Whenever I try to disconnect myself from the busy life, I tend to gravitate towards nature. It can either be in the mountains, rivers, sandy beaches, or rainforests. Breathing fresh air and feeling the earth beneath your feet, is the most relaxing feeling I’ve ever known.
There is a sense of comfort when trading the concrete jungle for the abundant nature in the countryside.
There are different ways to experience the great outdoors and each person probably has their own personal way of doing it. It can be as simple as visiting a local park or trekking on a local mountain trail. Some enjoy camping while others take shelter in cabins. You can try any activity that works for you. Each experience will build up your character. Learning more about yourself and your own preference is the fun part about it too.
I’ve been introduced to outdoor activities since I was a little child. Now, I’ve learned how to branch out and expand my activities to learning different kinds of outdoor sports. Learning many skills enabled me to go to hard-to-reach places which opened my eyes to the amazing wildlife in my neighborhood. It makes exploring more exciting as it slowly expanded my world.
As seasons change, so does the panoramic scenery in nature. Enjoying the summer wind in the beachy shorelines is way more fun while windsurfing. Paddling through rivers lets you spot amazing birds and wildlife along the way. Trekking across the autumn foliage or skiing through snowy mountain terrain are also some of the best experiences I whole-heartedly cherish.
